Right Person in the Right Place at the Right Time with the Right Gifts

The Church is described in the Bible as Christ's Body by the Apostle Paul. Each part of the Body plays the role it has been designed for. No part can be ignored and nor part eliminated. Everyone is important for the Body to be used the way God has intended. We hope you will consider serving at Christ Community Church using your gifts and talents to help build the Church and serve the needs of the entire Body. There are roles for people with a variety of time availability from a few minutes per week to a few hours. When everyone is serving with the right heart in the right role at the right time with the right spiritual gifts, we all can sit back and watch the Holy Spirit do a mighty work in and through us!

Service Opportunities

We are seeking people to serve in the following roles. Please see Pastor D or any ministry leader to inquire about each of the roles listed. Get plugged in and begin using your gifts and talents to make a difference for God's glory.

Next Generation

· Elementary (KidZONE) - 8:30 am - Serve as a facilitator for our early elementary kids for half of the service during the message time by praying and starting and stopping a video, then leading the kids to discuss the video. Gifts of helps, mercy, encouragement, leadership, shepherding, etc.

· Preschool & Elementary (KidZONE) - 10:30 am  - Serve as a teacher for our elementary children on Sunday mornings from 10:30-11:45 am. All of the curriculum and lesson preparation work is done for you. Gifts of teaching, leadership, shepherding or encouragement.

· Nursery (KidZONE) - 10:30 - Serve by sharing God's love with our youngest kids in the nursery and supporting our nursery staff person as an extra set of hands for her. Gifts of mercy, helps, encouragement, or shepherding.

· Youth (Engage) - 9-10 am - Serve alongside our youth pastor and minister to the teens of our church family. Gifts of service, encouragement, shepherding, teaching or leadership.

Small Groups

· Small Group Leader - Serve as a small group facilitator for one of our new small groups: young adults (17-20 something), middlers (20-30 somethings) and couples. Gifts of serve, encouragement, mercy, sherpherding, administration or leadership.

Adult Ministry

· Benevolence Meal Team - sign up to be "on call" in the event of meal needs for people going through illness or other crises. When called, you would be asked to prepare a meal and deliver it to a family in need.

· Celebrate Recovery assistant leader - Serve alongside our associate pastor to serve people fighting addictions and help them find freedom in Christ. Friday evenings from 7-8:30 pm.

Worship Arts

· Worship Team - serve using your gifts and talents leading the congregation in worship through music on Sunday mornings. Gifts of creative communication and musical talents are required. (Smile)

· Tech Team - we are seeking people to serve on our sound and media team. We desire to have team members serve two Sundays per month before and after the Sunday morning services.  Gifts of craftsmanship, helps, administration or leadership.

Facilities

· Set-up Team - Saturdays for one hour, twice per month - we seeking individuals to serve on our set-up team. We need a few more people to serve on this rotational team helping to transform the college into our church. Work occurs on Saturday from 9-10 am. Gifts of helps, craftsmanship, etc. 

Administrative

· Administrative Support - if you are administratively gifted and/or love to work on the computer, we are seeking you to serve to help support the various activities of the church administratively. Knowledge of WORD, Excel and Publisher would be super! A few hours per week or per month is all it takes! Gifts of administration or helps.

· Office Staff - we are seeking people to serve in the church office/ministry center one day per week for a few hours to answer the phone, welcome guests, and do other administrative tasks. Gifts of administration, helps, etc. apply.

LoveActs

· Projects Teams - serve to assist in helping people in need with various projects by using your special skills. Gifts of craftsmanship, helps, mercy, etc.

· Simple Service Leaders - Lead one of these simple service activities during the year: Project Angel Tree & Mama's Kitchen Food Drive

Special Events

· Serve alongside Pastor Darrell as a coordinator for one of these special events:  Beach Baptism Bonfire (7/11), or Pastor/Staff Appreciation Day (Sept.) Gifts of administration, helps, hospitality or leadership.

HUG's Team-Hospitality, Ushers & Greeters

· Bagel Team - rotate on a team, serving twice per month between service- Serve our guests by preparing bagels and helping everyone feel welcomed.  Gifts of hospitality or helps.

· Usher and Greeter Team  - Welcome our guests and regular attendees as they arrive, handing out bulletins and helping guests to feel at home; give out Bibles and collect the offering during the service. Gifts of helps, service, hospitality, encouragement, or administration.
