Aimee Tangog

Next Generations Pastor

Aimee was called to the role of Next Gen Pastor in the late Spring of 2021 and provides leadership for the Nursery, KidZONE, Family, Youth and Young Adults ministries. She has been a member of CCC for 16 years and is also a member of the worship team. She has served as Online Facilitator, Area Leader for Small Groups, Area Leader for Outreach, and has served on the greeter team, women’s retreat team, homeless ministry team, and Food Distribution team. She also led our Street Fair teams for many years and went with our team to Port Arthur, TX to work on homes after devastation from hurricanes.

Aimee is an extrovert who loves people and kids and is a kid at heart. She is currently a student at Azusa Pacific University’s Haggard School of Theology’s San Diego campus and has about one year left to complete her Master of Divinity seminary degree. She is a graduate of the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and is also one of CCC’s 1st Faith Bible Institute graduates. She has a childlike faith and is desperately in love with Jesus and wants our next generation to love Jesus with their whole heart and have hope in His redemptive power.

Aimee loves CCC because it is a Bible teaching church where she caught the vision in Pastor Darrell’s Bible Study on Revelation and understood that our faith is about our relationship with Jesus and others, not religion. Aimee is a San Diego native who is often found hanging out with family and friends at restaurants, coffee shops, playing beach volleyball, surviving Insanity Max:30 or soloing in Big Red up in the mountains on her regular God dates!

Life verses:

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” -Matt 28:19-20

The Fellowship of the Believers “And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” -Acts 2:42-47
